Workforce Planner

On behalf of our Barrow based defence client Morson are recruiting for a 12 month contract position in the People Capability Team, part of the Governance and Resourcing Team, for a Short Term Workforce Planner 
This role has a high level of reporting and data gathering involved so we would be looking for someone that has a project/planning, HR background with a high level of attention to detail and can apply a common sense approach. We require someone with a high level of knowledge on all Microsoft Office packages and someone who is comfortable working independently but also as part of a team.
Days on site: 3 (Tues, Weds, Thurs every week but candidate must be flexible to attend site on the days that don’t fall into this pattern, if needed

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Support the end to end delivery of the short term workforce plan which entails accurate planning and forecasting of headcount supply vs demand aligned to a set org design.
• Support the full process for all supply solutions including contingent, consultant and core recruitment demand ensuring a smooth running throughout.
• Liaise day to day with a number of stakeholders across various functions and people at all levels.

Knowledge:
• Good relationships with suppliers and customers
• Skilled in the use of standard Microsoft packages and specialist packages as required

Skills:
• Good accuracy and detail
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Major activity co-ordination
• Understanding HS&E requirements

Please be aware that this role is subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
