Quality Assurance Manager

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for auditing, quality assurance and continuous improvement? Morson is currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Aerospace and Defence client’s team in Crawley.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct project audits and surveillance activities in line with project quality plans and audit strategies.
- Provide QA support for bids, projects, and products to align with business and customer objectives.
- Manage non-conformances, ensuring timely resolutions, including root cause analysis.
- Act as the customer’s advocate within project teams, driving satisfaction and quality improvements.
- Support training, development, and knowledge sharing within the quality team.
About You
You’re a trained auditor with a strong background in quality assurance, ideally within avionics, manufacturing, or engineering environments. You’re proactive, solutions-oriented, and ready to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified auditor with experience auditing complex organisations and suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and regulatory frameworks such as DAOS, Part21, Part145, and MAA-RAs.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Full Security Clearance and valid driving license.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with engineering lifecycles, project management, and software standards (e.g., DO-178, DO-254).
- Membership in CQI or similar professional bodies.
