Architectural Technician (3 Month FTC)

We are collaborating with a multi-disciplinary practice with offices in Birmingham and Worcester, looking for a skilled Architectural Technician to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract due to a surge in new projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality technical drawings, models, and specifications in Revit (essential).
  • Work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring design solutions are accurate, functional, and compliant with UK building regulations.
  • Assist in the delivery of projects from concept to completion across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, education, healthcare, etc.).
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring clear communication and smooth project progression.
  • Support senior team members in site visits, technical reviews, and problem-solving on live projects.
  • Ensure all work meets current UK Building Regulations and industry best practices.
  • Adapt to changing workloads, managing tasks independently while contributing effectively to the team.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in an architectural practice.
  • Proven experience delivering projects, ideally across multiple sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit (essential)
  • Understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning processes, and construction detailing.
  • Ability to produce clear and precise technical drawings and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Experience with BIM workflows is a plus.
