Summary:

Our client is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their Water department in Glasgow. Candidates will ideally have:

Skills:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
2. Experience in the water industry
3. Chartered or Incorporated membership of relevant engineering institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM)
4. Leadership and team management skills
5. Experience in Sustainable Urban Drainage and Surface Water Management
6. Experience in Trunk Mains and Large Diameter Pipeline Design
7. Experience in Service Reservoirs
8. Experience in Clean Water Treatment
9. Strong client focus and service excellence ethos
10. Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Software/Tools:

• AutoCAD
• Civil 3D
• MicroDrainage
• Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications & Standards:

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with ICE or CIWEM
• Familiarity with UK water industry standards and regulations
