You’ll be an experienced Business Analyst, well versed at working alongside internal accounts teams, helping them to maximise the systems efficeince and operations.
A background working with vendors, partners and internal stakeholders has given you exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a flair for commercial outcomes.
Process mapping, workshops and achievable outcomes are second nature to you.
This role will give you full ownership of the finance products and future direction. You’ll have direct influence under a supportive management to make and effect real change.
The role:
• Create and manage the product development roadmap in order to achieve the objectives and outcomes set
• Work with Finance team to ensure that their requirements are understood and that you maximise the current technology by assessing functions and features
• Manage end-to-end new product discovery including (where relevant) user research, analytics, market research and experimentation
• Manage the relationship with 3rd party financial system providers ensuring you are getting the best out of their products, influencing their roadmaps and understanding the direction of their products
• Understand the payment process across all channels. Manage all the touchpoints in the payments channel and suggest improvements based on the data
• Recommend how payments can improve, and reduce friction in, the user journey
You need:
• Knowledge of product management methodologies
• Experience of Finance systems and technologies
Ideally:
• Experience working with 3rd party Finance system providers building relationships that help influence their product roadmap
• Have an understanding of the payment process, and the touchpoints in the journey (e.g. Gateway/ Card Schemes/ Banks)
• Experience of analysing and documenting existing processes and then defining new more efficient ways of working including writing User Stories and Acceptance tests to go to 3rd party system suppliers
• Demonstrate a good understanding of payment processing for both online and EPOS transactions
