Location: Flexible (London, Crawley, Ipswich) Hybrid
Role Overview:
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you’ll drive the adoption of Microsoft Azure and support the evolution of the Hybrid Cloud Strategy. Working within the IS directorate, you’ll collaborate with various teams to define the architecture, deliver cloud solutions, and enable application modernisation. You’ll be instrumental in defining and communicating architecture roadmaps and ensuring solutions align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the definition of cloud and infrastructure architectures, transitioning from legacy technologies to Azure and M365.
• Translate roadmaps into deliverable work packages for continuous value delivery.
• Perform infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, programme managers, and product owners to define technical solutions.
• Monitor performance metrics and lead complex architectural transformations.
• Support architecture governance and maintain best practices.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a strong background in Microsoft Azure and data centre infrastructures, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to all levels of the business. You should have experience with agile methodologies, architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or BPMN, and possess excellent collaboration skills.
