Job Duties:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management strategies, policies, and procedures. They will lead quality improvement initiatives, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The role involves monitoring and analysing quality performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. The Quality Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous quality enhancement throughout the organisation.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a quality management role within the engineering industry - In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and methodologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve quality objectives
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management roles within the engineering sector
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulations in the engineering industry - Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques - Ability to analyse data and generate insights to drive quality improvements - Strong project management skills - Excellent decision-making capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, Six Sigma) - Master’s degree in Engineering or Quality Management
Working Conditions:
