Strategy Support

We have an exciting new opportunity for Strategy Support for out client on TDA Alliance. This is for legacy pond work situated on Sellafield site, Cumbria.

Legacy Ponds (LP) Strategy & Technical is focused on providing strategic & technical support to First Generation Magnox Storage Pond (FGMSP), Pile Fuel Storage Pond (PFSP), Redundant Settling Tank (RST), Sludge Packaging Plant (SPP1), Sludge Handling & Export Plant (SH&EP) & the Interim Storage facility (ISF).

The LP Strategy Team, requires additional support to LP & associated facilities, as directed by the LP Strategy Manager.

Strategy support required, minimum 6 months, to be included in the TO 153 scope for FY 24/25.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Degree/HNC/HND level
P4 pass holder.
SC clearance.
SL experience (worked on SL plants/systems).

Numerate, articulate, able to communicate well with stakeholders & the supply chain.
Able to collect, organise, analyse, & interpret information to support the development of solutions.
Able to support the implementation of solutions to problems.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

Monitored Worker
Legacy Ponds/Retrievals experience

Key Deliverables:

Directed by the Strategy Manager, providing strategic support to the LP Strategy Team, accelerating high hazard risk reduction by (but not limited to):

Strategy & Technical delivery against key programme risks & assumptions in LP.
Input to a suite of documents supporting the management of strategic coherence.
Interactions with other disciplines/external Consultants etc.
