Cyber Resilience Project Manager
Hybrid - 3 days in London based office 2 days remote
£700 per day - Outside IR35
12 Month Duration
Role Overview:
The role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership and delivery of projects within the Cyber Resilience Programme, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Competencies:
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior business leaders, as well as technical and operational stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Proven expertise in project planning, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project roadmaps.
- Project Delivery: Hands-on project management skills to drive day-to-day execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring effective planning, execution, and closure.
- Reporting: Provide clear, concise, and regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Project Management Methodologies: Proficient in methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Scaled Agile (SAFe).
- Cybersecurity Expertise: Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with key cybersecurity capabilities, including:
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)
- Network Security, with a focus on Zero-Trust Architecture, Micro-Segmentation, and Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
- Secure by Design principles, ensuring security is embedded throughout the system development lifecycle
- Secure Configuration best practices for reducing vulnerabilities and maintaining robust security postures
