Project Manager

Our client Scottish Power are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their team based in Kilmarnock on a long-term contract basis. For this role they are ideally looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. For more information on this role see below:

Key Responsibilities
• Defining project scope and objectives
• Coordinating internal resources and vendors
• Managing project schedules and budgets
• Communicating with stakeholders
• Monitoring project performance and making adjustments as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
• Planning: Developing a comprehensive project plan that outlines objectives, scope, resources, and timelines.
• Leading: Assembling and guiding the project team, assigning tasks, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
• Execution: Overseeing the implementation of project phases, ensuring adherence to the plan.
• Time Management: Monitoring schedules and making adjustments to keep the project on track.
• Budget Management: Creating and managing the project budget, reallocating resources as necessary.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of project progress and outcomes for future reference.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
• Proficiency in IT, including MS Word and Outlook, Excel. MS project plan

Criteria:
Ideally suitable qualified to degree level in project management or experienced in delivering wide variety of projects.
Excellent communicative skills with clients and stakeholders, environmental aware.
IT literate and willing to learn ERP system within SPEN , SAP and Salesforce and able to learn new skills.
Roles of project manager will be deliver various work streams projects, ranging from small / medium / large connection projects and investment projects on behalf of SPEN.
