Job Title: IT Network Manager
Reports to: School Business Manager

Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic IT Network Manager to oversee the network infrastructure for our client. This role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems to ensure efficiency and security, as well as managing a team of IT professionals and leading network projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network administration, problem-solving skills, and effective team management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Network Design & Implementation:
- Develop and maintain network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to support school operations.

-Network Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network performance and resolve issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
- Implement redundancy and failover systems for network continuity.

- Security Management:
- Develop and enforce network security policies, conduct audits, and maintain firewalls and VPNs.

- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of network administrators, providing training and performance reviews.

- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain network documentation and generate reports on performance and security.
- Communicate updates to senior management.

- Vendor & Budget Management:
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate network products.
- Develop and oversee the network budget.

- Project Management:
- Plan and manage network-related projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-3 years of network administration experience, with proven team management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+) preferred.

Skills:
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Expertise:
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022, Hyper-V.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Google Workspace.
- Proficiency in network switching, routing, and various software tools.
