Our client is a pioneer in renewable energies and the production of green hydrogen. More than 6 GW of wind and photovoltaic power currently operated in Germany, France and Poland. The company in France is recognized for the quality of the wind farms and photovoltaic power plants developed, which total to date more than 500 MW in operation and more than 1,500 MW in the development phase.
Job Description
- Developing wind projects by ensuring the monitoring and quality of projects throughout the development phase
- Collaborate with the prospecting and expertise teams to facilitate the transition to the development phase
- Propose a preliminary sizing, a provisional filing schedule and a development budget to Management
- Ensure effective communication and consultation with key stakeholders (elected officials, owners, operators, stakeholders, local residents)
- Define the project specifications, monitor the launch and completion of studies
- Ensure the economic viability of projects through control of budget, quality and deadlines
- Negotiate and argue with local authorities
- Negotiate with owners and operators to finalize land security for the project
- Manage and monitor relationships with design offices and external service providers
- Submit the necessary administrative requests, follow the instruction phase while maintaining close contact with the instructing services
- Ensure project compliance with current regulations
- Maintain necessary support during the construction phase of the project until commissioning
- Write and present project progress and summary reports
- Coordinate and lead the internal and external teams involved in the project
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and safety standards
- Participate in the promotion and enhancement of the project
Qualifications
- With a Bac +3/5 engineering and/or sales background, you have initial confirmed experience in the development of wind projects.
- Good knowledge of the different phases of a project in technical terms and you are proficient in administrative and urban planning procedures.
- You are able to communicate in English.
- You have very good interpersonal skills, you are proactive and committed, involved, rigorous, dynamic, convincing and you work independently.
- You have already achieved success in this sector of activity.
- You have a good knowledge of the players in the wind energy sector in France and you are efficient.
- You are able to lead several projects in parallel and prioritize your actions.
