We’re looking for a HSE Technical Assistant, based at our Capenhurst site location. You’ll provide a range of technical support services to the CNO Team including but not limited to dosimetry administration, performance indicator reporting and trending, statutory reporting, trending and dissemination of organisational learning, administration of the Capenhurst assurance programme, co-ordination and administration of HSE contracts

What you’ll do:
Provides technical support to the wider CNO department which includes but is not limited to:
• Administration of the dosimetry systems for site including the issuing of dosimetry.
• Technical authoring and checking of documents.
• Preparing and issuing business performance reports including business performance indicators and environmental statutory reports.
• Emergency planning including ensuring emergency preparedness and executing emergency exercises.
• Co-ordinating the follow up from regulatory inspections.
• Administering the event reporting and corrective action software database.
• Co-ordinating audits, inspections and self-verifications.
• Trending and dissemination of Learning from Experience (supervised by others)
• Administration of the organisational management of change process.
Provide technical support to the HSE team which includes but is not limited to:
• Planning and scheduling work,
• Project managing small to medium sized improvement projects and work packages.
• Administrating the department work order and time booking process.
• Co-ordinating HSE resource programmes to ensure they are implemented and delivered to plan.
• The management of the HSE Service Delivery Agreements and customer satisfaction assessment.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
• Previous experience as an technical administrator or assistant.
• Ability to work on own initiative and organise own work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills including good interpersonal skills necessary to work in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point.
• Experience in the use of SAP.
• Ability to establish and administer planning and work execution processes.
• Previous experience working in a technical support role in a highly regulated industry.
