Head of Security & Resilience – Lead the Front Line of Protection
Location: Telford | Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + exceptional benefits

Our client is on the lookout for a Head of Security & Resilience to shape and drive strategic security initiatives across their organisation. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this is a career-defining leadership role at the heart of operational safety, risk mitigation, and organisational resilience.

What You’ll Be Leading:

  • Oversee the development and execution of security governance, strategies, and operational resilience frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with HMG security policies and industry standards across all areas.

  • Lead audits, risk assessments, and threat mitigation, identifying vulnerabilities before they become problems.

  • Act as the senior advisor on all things security, liaising closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Shape and enhance the organisation’s business continuity plans, crisis response protocols, and protective security policies.

  • Champion a security-conscious culture throughout the business.


What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • A strong background in security management, with a proven track record in HMG security policy and compliance.

  • Experience in defence, government, or highly regulated sectors is highly desirable.

  • Expertise in risk management, resilience planning, and security auditing.

  • Confident leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.

  • A strategic mindset combined with hands-on delivery and operational awareness.
