SC cleared - ServiceNow Architect - remote based in the UK - inside IR35.

Please note successful candidates must be willing to undergo SC clearance for this role. 

The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for leading the design and development of innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business. The primary objective of this role is to deploy, maintain and improve the ServiceNow Service Management platform to support external customers and internal staff. The role will be providing technical leadership, to lead and support the team by coaching and mentoring a high performing and engaged team.

From a delivery point of view, responsibilities include analysing the impact of new requirements, to deliver proactive IT Service Management and Operations through implementation, automation, integration, and management of primarily ITSM and ITOM related toolsets and environments. It will will require demonstrable experience in processes, tools, and frameworks to improve overall quality, efficiency, and experience of services being delivered.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex IT solutions that meet the business needs of the organisation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Develop and maintain solution architecture documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to the development team to ensure the quality and integrity of the final solution.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and frameworks to improve solution design and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and procedures related to solution design and delivery.
- Manage and mentor a team of BAs, admins, solution architects and developers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Focus on designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering complex IT solutions that meet business needs.

- Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects.
- Participates in process workshops.
- Works closely with enterprise architecture team.
- Assists in migrating configuration across instances.

Preferred skills/experience:
- Experience working as a ServiceNow Application Architect, carrying out system maintenance and upgrades.
- Experience using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design and UI Actions.
- Experience of the CSM module.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, CMDB, Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Domain Separation and RBAC controls.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Platform Integrations and data normalization.
- Demonstrable knowledge of scripting in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, Angular etc.
- Excellent understanding of ServiceNow platform administration.
