Job Title: Enterprise Architect - Security
STo circa £100,000 + bonus and benefits
Location: Can be based in Reading or Glasgow
Full-time / hybrid (1 day per week onsite)
Bridge Technology Partners are looking for an Enterprise Architect with a focus on cyber-security. You’ll drive value through analysing business demands and organisational goals to provide technology strategy direction. This will guide the delivery of technology changes to achieve the required outcomes from a Business Unit and Group perspective. You will be responsible for the evolution of architecture from current to future state for the Security domain.
- This role will focus principally on Security technologies, but you will use your broader business and technology knowledge, working in a team of cross-domain architects, to provide relevant and timely guidance to your stakeholders.
- You will evaluate technology changes in a complex estate and make the necessary challenges and steers to align delivery with strategic direction, whilst considering the immediate operational needs of the business.
- You will provide oversight on future state designs and assure solutions adhere to architecture principles, guardrails, standards and the target state architecture.
- As a strong leader and influencer, you’ll analyse the business and central roadmaps and work with key stakeholders to define the technology strategy within the Security domain.
- You will facilitate and arbitrate architecture decisions to maximise business value, resolve issues and ensure informed decisions are made in the best interests of the Group.
What do I need?
You’ll demonstrate your extensive ability to work at senior/executive levels and will have the ability to define the value provided from Information Technology in a way that is compelling for your audience. Your pragmatic approach will mean you can balance business needs that are both strategic and tactical.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex security solutions. Previous experience working with Operational Technologies would be advantageous.
- Expert knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, standards, and best practices, such as NIST, CAF, COBIT, ISO, NIS, GDPR, etc.
- Experience and understanding on security architecture, risk assessment, threat modelling and security testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to translate business requirements into security solutions.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent is desirable.
Previous experience in Enterprise Architecture and your proven ability to deliver EA value to senior stakeholders in organisations is essential; however, it will be your drive as an IT professional and your desire to make a positive contribution to the future of the company, which will help ensure your success in this role.
