We are recruiting on behalf of a leading real estate services firm that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bid Manager.

This is a senior role where you will prepare, coordinate, and manage the quality aspects of tender submissions for a wide range of clients. In this role, you’ll ensure that submissions are completed accurately, on time, and fully compliant with all requirements. Acting as a project lead, you will drive the bidding process, lead bid writing, and be responsible for shaping winning strategies that set the firm apart.

Core Responsibilities:

As a Bid Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing Persuasive Bids: Develop winning, high-quality bids that align with client goals.
  • Bid Process Management: Oversee the bidding process, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams to gather and refine bid information.
  • Strategic Influence: Lead the development of bid plans and innovative strategies to elevate submissions.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends and maintain awareness to strengthen proposals.
  • System Development: Support ongoing improvements for consistency and quality in bid submissions.
  • Information Library Development: Create and maintain standard bid responses for efficient access.

Experience:

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Extensive Bidding Experience: Minimum of five years in a Bidding/Pitching role, ideally within professional services or the property industry.
  • High-Value Project Exposure: Experience with bids generating over £250k in fee revenue or involving project costs of £15m+.
  • Innovation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality bid documentation within corporate guidelines.
  • Educational Background: Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
  • Communication Excellence: Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.

Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Adobe Design Package is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality and client-focused details.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work across diverse teams and jurisdictions, with flexibility to meet team needs.
  • Professionalism: Consistently portray a professional image to clients and partners.
