Technical Delivery Manager - Sheffield (Hybrid 2 days on site) - £60k, 15% Bonus, 30 days Annual Leave
The Bridge IT have partnered with a leading financial services client to recruit a Techncial Delivery Manager into thier operations team.
This is a unique opportunity to drive cloud strategies and transformational projects, leading commercial platforms like AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadmap Management: Evolve the Cloud technology roadmap in alignment with business objectives, delivering projects efficiently and within quality expectations.
- Project Delivery: Manage cloud projects using best practices, adhering to the company’s Change Framework, and ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers and internal teams, monitoring performance and ensuring services are delivered within established parameters.
- Governance and Documentation: Prepare project control documents and progress reports for stakeholders, addressing risks and ensuring transparency.
- Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets and backlogs, ensuring cost alignment and prioritising activities to meet timelines.
Required Skills
- Proven Project Management Expertise with experience in IT project delivery, particularly in cloud (AWS and Azure).
- Technical Knowledge of Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong Project Management Skills including formal certification (PRINCE2, Agile), with an ability to apply Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Third-Party Vendor Management Experience and expertise in reviewing proposals and reporting to key stakeholders.
