EC&I Engineer

We have an exciting new opportunity for a CE&I ENGINEER who can be based at our clients premises in either Warrington, Cheshire or West Cumbria.

About the Role:

To produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.

The role will support the EC&I Engineering Lead and Senior EC&I Delivery Engineer and experience of the following is preferred:

Site surveys of electrical assets.
Design of services.
Plant/site modification (design and implementation)
Supporting the production of engineering documentation and drawings, including but not limited to Site Survey Reports, Single Line Diagrams (including protection diagrams), Cable Routing, Block Cable Diagrams, CDM Risk Assessments, Cable Calculations, Cable Cards, Outline Installation Method Statements, CAE, input to optioneering etc.
BIM input where required.
Support to Single Discipline Design Review & production of the minutes of meetings.
Support to Multi Discipline Design Review & production of the minutes of meetings.

The role will involve the production of engineering deliverables to support design development through concept, preliminary and detail design phases as required to teh appropriate Sellafield Standards.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Degree qualified EC&I Engineer (or equivalent through enhanced experience).
Significant demonstrable experience in EC&I project delivery.
Experience of the design delivery of building electrical services.
Competent in the application of IET wiring regulations.
Experience of space management, cable routing and cable management.
Ability to work as part of an integrated delivery team as well as individually - sometimes working within restrictive time constraints.
Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.

Desirable Experience:

AutoCAD
AVEVA electrical or similar EC&I design packages.
Nuclear industry EC&I design.
