What you’ll do:

  • Contractual Guidance: Provide expert guidance and support to the project team on all contractual and commercial matters. This includes interpreting contracts, issuing timely contractual notices, addressing potential claims, resolving issues, and managing contract interfaces.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure the administration of assigned contracts aligns with Urenco’s policies and procedures, maintaining strict adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Assist in managing contractual risks and opportunities, ensuring all contract documents are properly controlled, complete, communicated to the appropriate stakeholders, and securely stored.
  • Reporting: Oversee the production of required monthly reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivering relevant information.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track contract performance and proactively inform management of any upcoming commercial or contractual issues, deadlines, or potential risks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of all contract communications, ensuring that all correspondence is conducted and documented in line with contractual timelines and requirements.

What do you need to thrive in this role?

  • Educational Background: Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Contract Management Accreditation: Certification in contract management, such as SCL, IACCM, CIPS, or an equivalent.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in managing contracts, ideally across multiple industries.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of legal terms and conditions related to contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build constructive, effective relationships with both internal and external multinational stakeholders.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent skills in communication, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation, ensuring smooth interactions across all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint to support reporting and presentations.
