Job Title: Project and Change Manager

Rate: £500-£550 per day (negotiable)
Location: Coventry

Overview:
Our clients is seeking a skilled Project and Change Manager to accelerate the rollout of a key project. This is a pivotal role to ensure seamless procurement, enhance stakeholder collaboration, and address critical connectivity challenges affecting data retrieval.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the accelerated rollout of smart meters across our clients service area.
• Steer multiple procurement exercises, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
• Work closely with other teams to deliver the campaign’s objectives.
• Manage and resolve connectivity issues affecting the performance and data returns of installed smart meters.
• Collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including the installation team, suppliers, and the procurement department.
• Act as the key driver for change, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and the adoption of solutions to improve smart meter performance.

About You:
We are looking for a strong senior Project Manager with the following attributes:

• Proven experience managing large-scale rollout projects, ideally within the utilities sector.
• Expertise in smart metering projects or similar technology deployments is beneficial.
• An understanding of connectivity and data management challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a history of resolving complex, cross-organisational challenges.
• Experience driving procurement strategies to completion.
