Job Title: Remote 1st Line Document Review Redaction Specialist

Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)

Salary: £220/day

Job Type: Full-time / Temp (6 months with possible extension)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised 1st Line Redaction Specialist to join our remote team. You will be responsible for reviewing and redacting sensitive information from documents, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, and maintaining confidentiality at all times. This role requires strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 1st line redactions on documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Identify and remove sensitive or confidential information in compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.

• Work collaboratively with the wider redaction and compliance teams to maintain best practices.

• Review redacted documents for quality assurance before submission.

• Manage and prioritize workload efficiently to meet deadlines.

• Maintain secure handling of all documents and adhere to strict confidentiality policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a redaction or data protection role.

• Strong understanding of GDPR and confidentiality principles.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Proficiency with redaction software and document management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in legal, compliance, or data protection sectors is a plus.
