Finance Business Partner
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic and well-established organisation in Manchester. This key role will be instrumental in providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support decision-making at a senior level. You’ll work closely with the management team, guiding them on financial matters and ensuring robust financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality management information (MI) and detailed financial analysis to support operational decision-making.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and control.
• Attend senior management meetings, actively contributing to financial strategy discussions.
• Lead monthly financial meetings with department heads to review performance, forecasts, and budgets.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, and monthly business review packs.
• Manage month-end journals and event settlements, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
• Conduct ROI analysis on capital projects and advise on the financial impact of key initiatives, especially premium and hospitality products.
• Ensure compliance with audit processes and maintain accurate financial records.
• Contribute to the overall financial planning process, identifying opportunities for improved financial performance.

About You:

We are ideally looking for a qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA professional with post-qualification experience. You will have:
• Strong management experience and the ability to engage with senior leadership.
• A proven track record in implementing process improvements and change management.
• Expertise in financial systems, controls, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and ideally macros.
