The Role - Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be a key part of the Project Delivery Organisation (PDO) Quality team, supporting Quality Leads to ensure robust quality processes are in place. You will play a crucial role in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and quality assurance, helping to achieve right-first-time delivery.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with teams across the UK, providing exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Quality Lead in managing daily QA/QC activities, including creating, reviewing, and updating governance and manufacturing/construction documents.
Ensure the adoption and replication of quality arrangements across the project.
Monitor awareness and implementation of Quality Management processes.
Support in the planning and execution of quality audits and self-assessments.
Maintain and manage PDO Quality records, working closely with project teams.
Proactively identify, address, and report quality issues, collaborating with stakeholders for resolution.
Capture, track, and report on PDO quality performance metrics.
Identify risks and opportunities for improvement through Learning Reports.
Drive continuous improvement using industry best practices, quality methodologies, and innovative tools.
Deliver quality awareness training to project team members.
Contribute to the implementation of digital tools within the Quality department.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
HNC/HND qualification (or equivalent) in a science/engineering discipline.
Experience in Manufacturing, Construction, or Engineering industries.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 operating environments.
Experience working within a project environment.
Competency in QA/QC and reporting tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and SharePoint.
Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
A track record of driving continuous improvement and embedding quality processes.

Excellent communication skills - confident, clear, and proactive.
Ability to influence and build effective relationships across teams.
Passionate about quality and customer satisfaction.
A questioning mindset with a drive for improvement.
Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
