Receptionist and Administrator

JobTitle: Receptionist / Administrator
Location: Derwent House, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2JY
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with some flexibility for commuting if needed
Contract: Until July 2025, potential to become permanent 

About the Role:
We are recruiting a proactive and professional Receptionist / Front of House Coordinator to join our client’s team in Sheffield. This is a key role within the office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a friendly and professional meet and greet service.
  • Maintain stock levels of office supplies and manage first aid kit checks.
  • Coordinate courier bookings and manage incoming/outgoing post.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks, such as sorting out post and keeping the office organized.
  • Assist the team with ad hoc duties as needed, working independently and taking initiative.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, with the ability to work autonomously and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Excellent front-of-house and customer service skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong organizational skills.
