Project Manager - £550 -£600 per day - Inside IR35 - Primarily Remote - 12 months initial contract

My client, one of the UKs leading energy providers, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive complex business change projects, working across our diverse organisation to deliver impactful results. If you are an organised, tech-savvy professional with a passion for change management, this will be an ideal role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver complex projects, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across multi-location teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops, embracing new methodologies and technological innovations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to define and deliver solutions, aligning with organisational goals and enterprise risk management strategies.
  • Integrate enterprise risk management practices into project planning and execution, identifying, assessing, and managing project risks proactively.
  • Apply Lean/Operational Excellence techniques to streamline and optimise project processes.
  • Report on project progress with a high level of accuracy, providing meaningful insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience managing business change projects in a complex, multi-directorate environment.
  • Proven track record in IT/Digitalisation or a similar project-based role.
  • Strong background in change management and business transformation, including experience working with multi-location teams.
  • In-depth understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, with proven experience integrating risk management practices into projects.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Formal Project Management qualifications (e.g., PMP, APM, Prince2).
  • Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Operational Excellence techniques.
