The Client is a leading supply chain company who have been operating for over 80 years with around 12,000 employees globally, in over 60 countries.
This position is responsible for supporting a new function within the business where they’re using SAAS (Software As a Service) related products.
The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for driving data collection and consolidating feedback from several sources, building on statistical historical data to create and maintain demand and collection forecasts and scenarios.
Furthermore, the Demand Planning Manager will play a central role in the Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring the global team have the right inputs to make clear, fast and data driven decisions.
Key Accountabilities
- Generate monthly demand plans based on agreed objectives and operating guidelines via the IBP process.
- Facilitate the monthly Demand Review meetings and play a key role in driving Demand, Asset Productivity and Sales plan alignment through the Integrated Business Planning process.
- Ensure that the assumptions underlying the demand plans are understood and documented along with timely communication ongoing demand forecast changes to key stakeholders in Sales, Asset productivity, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Responsible for achieving plan quality, reviewing historical trends, researching demand drives, developing statistical behaviour models particularly for collections forecasting, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results.
- Continuously evolve Demand Planning strategy and roadmap with Global peers to stay abreast of industry standards and best practices.
- Assist in developing the supporting the IBP process, providing longer term analysis of demand to assist Supply Chain Leadership in assessing long term supply capacity needs.
