M&E Planner

We are seeking a dedicated M&E Planner to join our defence sector team. This role involves working closely with the Head of Planning and Construction Leads to support the development and maintenance of a detailed delivery programme on a major defence project. The successful candidate will be responsible for all planning and schedule management activities using the corporate P6 planning tool, ensuring accurate representation of the delivery programme within the Mensa Programme to Complete (P2C). As an expert adviser, you will provide planning support to maintain minimum standards and enhance data quality for reporting. Collaboration with Programme Planners in the Programme Management team is essential to ensure alignment and address issues promptly. The position requires a current Security Clearance at SC level or above.

Skills:

Proficient with Primavera P6 in an Enterprise multi-user environment
Previous site experience in delivering complex projects to programme
NEC Experience with a focus on the Programme for Acceptance process
Implementation and use of earned value analysis
Development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Ability to integrate Mechanical and Electrical infrastructure with complex plant work packages
Strong communication and advisory skills
Stakeholder management and facilitation of planning reviews
Understanding of construction and technical knowledge
Problem-solving and issue resolution skills
