About the Role
As our Engineering Manager, youll be at the heart of a transformative phase within our Nuclear Power and Engineering Technical Services (NPETS) team. Your leadership will ensure the seamless coordination of engineering efforts to maintain and enhance the safety and efficiency of nuclear power stations, contributing to the UK’s Net Zero targets.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Oversee multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet time, cost, and quality objectives across various projects.
Technical Leadership: Take ownership of engineering challenges, developing strategies and managing stakeholder relationships to implement effective solutions.
Lifecycle Management: Navigate projects through all phases, from initial requirements to final commissioning, ensuring alignment with client needs.
Financial Oversight: Assist Project Managers with resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management to deliver projects on schedule.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, with significant design experience.
Technical Expertise: A strong background in Mechanical, Process, EC&I, Structural Integrity, or Civil Engineering.
Industry Experience: Previous involvement in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing diverse teams and executing projects effectively.
Problem Solving: Ability to devise strategic solutions to complex engineering problems.
