Job Duties:

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for aerospace and aviation applications
• Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing to ensure designs meet requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other systems
• Provide technical support and guidance during the manufacturing process

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in mechanical design within the aerospace or aviation industry
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design within the aerospace or aviation industry with interiors experience beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical design principles and practises
• Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional engineering certification
• Experience with FEA and simulation software

Working Conditions:

• Office-based work with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities
• May require travel to meet with clients or suppliers
• Strict adherence to health and safety regulations
