Role Description
The role holder:
• To conduct machining activities on-board the submarine units, using machines best suited to the task in accordance with the skills of the relevant In-situ Machinist. To work to drawing tolerances/parameters and quality requirements.

• Follow the relevant instructions, drawings and any other specifications.
• Use the appropriate methods and techniques to conduct machining activities.
• Check the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification.

Qualifications:
• Served and Approved Apprenticeship (In-situ machinist, Machinist, Mechanical, Fitter/Turner)
• NVQ Level 3 Equivalent Qualification (In relevant subject)
